There are notes that reminds me of wet, freshly cut grass in here, and delicate white flowers (lily and lily of the valley) that makes it smell both fresh and elegant in an almost melancholic way. Thank you to my toddler, who spotted the sparkly bottle (which I love, reminds me of the American soaps my Nanna used to watch) and wanted me to try it. It starts off with a melon note that is delicious but then something happens throughout the development with my chemistry that I don't like as much as the other two. It lasts well but could do a little better in that department, but one does have to remember that is is an EDT not an EDP, so its never going to be quite as long lasting. I was a little hesitant, because I was familiar with White Diamonds and it wasn't something I enjoyed on myself.Other people in the office liked it but there is something sickly and artificial in the mix that unsettled my stomach after I wore it. It's not totally me in all honesty as I'm more of an aquatic or oriental type but it doesn't break the bank and makes a nice uplifting change. The two fragrances combined create a fresh airy clean white floral scent that is perfect for spring and summer.

Diamonds and Sapphires is just doing its breezy and fresh floral-musk-calone-fougère thing without a headache factor. This is a spicy floral scent, and it does have a superior projection and sillage, typical of Elizabeth Taylor's fragrances. If you like Issey Miyake L'eau D'Issey or Michael Kors Turquoise, you will absolutely love Diamonds and Sapphires.Always read labels, warnings, directions and other information provided with the product before using it. I have Diamonds And Rubies which is an exceptional, magnificent piece of perfumery, in fact my favorite all time Liz Taylor perfume. More than anything, I smell a heavy lily-of-the-valley note: delicate, lady-like, classy, and very "white" in terms of smell-color relation.

So far I have Diamonds and Rubies, White Diamonds Luster, Sparkling White Diamonds, and now, Diamonds and Sapphires. I could imagine a normal person wearing this, but at the same time, I could also imagine the sharpness scaring them. I would classified it as a clean daily perfume, a bit soapy at the beginning because of the sharp smell of melon. The beginning screams “grandma” to me, I had my husband take a whiff and he said I smelled like a nun!It hits many of the notes to be a modern chypre, but there's way too much going on in here to truly restrict it to just one label. This definitely pulls a slight fabric softener "ocean breeze" type of scent on my skin and is a real blast for the nostrils when you first spray it tones down to what reminds me of a mix of EA sunflowers and Ocean dream both highly popular 90's aquatic/marine scents.
