Maybe it's impossible for me to review this scent objectively as the second I smell it I am transported into my childhood memories - it smells exactly like a wet garden does on a summer day in my home country Finland. To further support the farmers, CLEAN RESERVE funds a program that provides safe drinking water to the community. It has more in common with the previous soapy, laundry scents in the Clean roster, like Blonde Rose, Skin and of course, Warm Cotton. These fragrant treasures have been unlocked to create a new generation of Clean scents - Clean Reserve. The scent doesn’t stay around very long so I find myself refreashing multiple times throughout the day.

So, this scent smells nothing like urban rain yet there are nuances that give me that earthy touch, probably the damp patchoulli. com is not associated in any way with the brand, designer or designer's manufacturer, and we have no contract or agreement authorizing us to rebottle or repackage the fragrance. It is overall inoffensive if you like a melon-type body spray but if you are like me and actively dislike melon or cucumber, be warned. The opening notes are a fragrant, dewy blend of ripe melon, chamomile and daisy: sweet, succulent and simple. Reminds me sitting in the beach mid afternoon and it just finished raining and lots of cloud and gloomy while the wind blowing around 15 to 25 mph and its cool weather relaxes your mind.

However, as someone here said it smells like a decaying melon and I must agree that there's some truth to it. Fragrance Notes: Fresh hints of dewy flower petals wrap around the purity of airy musk to conjure a rich, familiar scent. The dry down has just a hint of the “rainy” scent profile, but it has less emphasis on petrichor and more on freshness. However, since the names are confusing, I feel like some of the reviewers here might have confused the two. for me i smelt melon, watery aquatic notes, then a hit of *strong* daisies and white flowers, maybe magnolia, honeysuckle or narcissus.

Perfumes with natural ingredients often smell different in batches based on the source of the ingredients, while synthetic ingredients usually have consistency in their smell and lasts longer. I dont see myself wearing it on my person but maybe its good for clothes or my pillow covers or something of that nature. Instead, I received 2 bottles of Lan come la vie est Belle est la'clat which was way too sweet for me. I don't use a lot bc a little goes a very long way and lasts forever on me maybe bc of my body chemistry.FIRST IN FRANGRANCE has also experienced its share of envy and imitators but we can proudly say that it is and remains – The Original. This looked like a good bet - I was hoping for something clean, fresh smelling, and not too strong or offensive for the office.

This smell is more like an early morning run on a crispy but sunny spring day, when you suddenly encounter a lemon tree of an incredible beauty and stop to look at it to appreciate the moment.

Crisp, watery cucumber notes and airy musk blend with vetiver and patchouli to create the calming, earthy scent after a passing rain. On me, the floral and bergamot are present, but the patchouli barely comes out, even many hours later after the initial spray.

The only reason this fragrance isn't 5 stars for me is I don't care for the "cucumber-melon" smell it's not my favorite. It’s musky, yes, but it really is just a soapy clean (hence the brand, I suppose) like Hotel white floral. Very quickly solved by sending me a replacement with extra packaging which arrived a few days later in perfect condition. It’s strikingly refreshing, green, and clean, but the patchouli lends some sensuality in the dry-down. In concern to that collection of 4 that I mentioned, I find this perfume to be more permanent as it would be quite hard to perfect such a perfume.If Clean’s Warm Cotton is the detergent that you used to wash your clothes with, Rain is the dryer sheet you throw in the dryer with them. When you wear Clean Rain by Clean, you can be reminded of more simpler times, when you wake up in the morning to the smell of wet grass and the display of bright budding colors in your garden. Takes me back to my childhood when you would run outside to the rain, when the sun is still shining and the rain drops are just refreshing and almost glittering. This perfume is humble yet fulfilling in its use of white flowers to provide some resource to smell from.
