It was obviously a book that was hard to put down, slight plot twists and actions that make you yell 'No! Though a lot might find the Plot Twist refreshing and new, but really, to me it was horrible and it made me suffer reading it. I’m putting this book in my abandoned shelf and maybe I’ll continue reading it in the future (not) But I'm sure it’s a safe guess that Daisy would end up with Luis. I was rooting for them as the made their way around the track wanting them to win switching between Will and Luis. ALSO ALL THE MF CHARACTERS ARE SO ANNOYING AND UNLIKABLE HOW TF DID THE AUTHOR MANAGE TO MAKE EVERYONE UNBEARABLY ANNOYING EXCEPT LUIS.I also liked all of the minor characters, the mechanics, Frederick, Holly’s boss, Simon, the team boss… I didn’t like Daisy’s mum and dad much, I found her dad too overbearing!

There were definitely a lot of fillers or inconsequential dilemmas, but oddly enough I wasn't deterred from reading on. It’s the perfect book for everyone who loves Formula 1 and a good romance book and I’m giving it 4 out of 5 stars. It made me see the sport in a different way, made me actually want to watch a race and love the sport where I now don’t miss a race weekend never thought that would happen. Life is complicated, humans are complicated we make mistakes, we fall for people we shouldn’t, this draws you in to the characters lives. The story develops nicely from the start and then unexpectedly twists - I couldn't put it down and I certainly wasn't expecting the twist.Also, I really hope I’ll one day be able to attend one of the races instead of only being able to watch from in front of my TV. finally she got to say goodbye to the man that held part of her heart now able to move on from the past with the man that owns her heart completely, the man she is going to spend the rest of her life with. Although the story was based around the formula 1 circuit there was still a great romantic feel to the book but also I found a few of the chapters were heartbreaking.

This is no reflection on the written book or any other Paige Toon books, my favourite being the Longest Holiday, which is a lovely audio book. Paige's new novel will have all of her trademark warmth and humour, with a sizzling plot and empathetic characters .

She raises this book above the usual chick lit fare by setting the story in the world of Formula 1 racing. I prefer shorter ones but if the story is good then long is okay cause I don't feel like it's dragging.
