About this deal

Effortless combining practicality and spectacular sound, start your keyboard journey right with Casio's innovative keyboard! The Casiotone CT-S1 is best for kids and beginners who want a professional look and sound on a budget. I have always been a die hard Yamaha guy but i just couldn't pull the trigger on the similar offerings by Yamaha, Roland, and others. While many of the tones on the CT-S1 share the same sample and the same instrument name as the CT-S400 , the tones on the CT-S1 sound better . Likely of most interest to serious musicians is the flagship CT-S1 (pictured above), which features Casio's premium AiX Sound Source engine, allowing it to “faithfully reproduce the appealing sound of acoustic instruments such as guitars, drums, basses, brass, wind instruments, string ensembles and more”.

You'll also find essentials like electric pianos, organs, strings, synths, and more, with Advanced Tones adding complex layers that react to your playing.I particularly like the VOX and Farfisa sounds not mentioned in James Shawcross' review (not sure if somebody demoes them online) but they are amazing.

Gave it 4 1/2 stars because some keys do require a bit more pressure than the others, so it needs improvement in that aspect. It essentially pans the keys based on where they are located on the keyboard (lower notes to the left, higher to the right), much the way an acoustic piano would sound if you were sitting at it. And then there are the speakers, which - we’ll admit - sound far better than we thought they would, even at higher volumes. We also do not accept products that are intimate or sanitary goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases. data-background-images="{}" data-video-fallback-src="" data-element="inner" data-pb-style="VSQAWPE">
