Note: Do not mix RH levels within the same humidor, and do not use XIKAR 2-Way Humidity Control Packets in the same humidor with other humidification products. The actual RH will be held at a constant level of one to four points lower than the level stated on the packet, depending on the barrier properties and/or quality of the humidor.Within an enclosed container, Boveda monitors the ambient RH (relative humidity) and adds or removes moisture to maintain the specific RH engineered into the pack. RH is right for aging premium cigars, storing cigars long term and preventing mold growth in Cuban cigars. NOTE: It's common that the actual RH of a humidor will stabilize up to 5 points lower than the Boveda RH you use because of humidor quality and ambient dryness.
