About this deal

Launched in 1999, Martin Miller’s Gin is distilled in pot stills in England and shipped to Iceland, where it is mixed with Icelandic spring water. Smooth and citrus, the juniper doesn't overpower and allows the highly aromatic character and subtly peppery zestiness to shine through. At heart a traditionalist yet, at the same time, possessed of a strong appetite for adventure combined with an illogical and irrepressible love of the Romantic. Martin Miller’s Gin was the first super premium gin on the market and is widely recognized for having kicked off the Gin Renaissance. They mention that its not acrid or too heavily flavoured, it's one of the best gins and that it'd be great with tonic and strawberries.

In creating his gin, the traditionalist in him demanded he make a gin that ‘tasted of gin’ and not, in his words, ‘of some highly flavoured confection’. Martin Miller quested to create a seductive gin so good that it would rejuvenate the market, experimenting with different combinations and proportions of botanicals. The concept was born in a bar in London’s Notting Hill, where Martin Miller, together with two friends, had the unconventional yet genius idea to create a modern, superior twist on classic gin using Icelandic water. ORIGINAL - Unconventional English Distillation of the finest botanicals, blended with the purest Icelandic water Is it Madness or Genius? It helps us understand the number of visitors, where the visitors are coming from, and the pages they navigate. They mention that it is not acrid or too heavily flavoured, and it is a great choice for a refreshing g and tonic.

To obtain Martin Miller’s balanced and smooth taste, the citrus and earth botanicals are distilled separately. It emerges in a state so pure that there is no need to artificially demineralise or distill it, giving the gin its gentle bouquet and trademark sensation. From the launch it enjoyed an underground cult status as the bartender’s favourite, it became something of a closely-guarded secret among the bar fraternity. The data collected including the number visitors, the source where they have come from, and the pages viisted in an anonymous form. A modern classic dry gin based on the best traditions of English distillers but with our own twist to obtain the perfectly balanced gin. Another feature is the distillation with lemon zest, orange, nutmeg, cinnamon and coriander in addition to classic spices and juniper berries.

We’ll find England’s best distiller, source the finest botanicals and most importantly, we’ll go for the purest water, wherever it is. To this end he insisted on only employing the methods and techniques of the ‘old school’ gin makers; sticking rigidly to their tried and tested methods and their classic range of botanicals. You can change your choices at any time by visiting Cookie preferences, as described in the Cookie notice.
