The title is a bit misleading, as it’s not so much ‘let’s talk’ but more let’s get other people’s experiences, views, and reflections then share with the audience - which worked for me , as the author introduces some interesting individuals.

The best thing about this book is that Nihal practices what he preaches—he models how to have better conversations by interviewing people who have powerful stories to share.The people of Japan believe that everyone has an ikigai - a reason for being; the thing that gets you out of bed each morning.

The only thing lacking for me was actual transcripts of the conversations, in raw form, before they are converted into the prose of the book. In some ways this is very similar to some of the other books that I have read more recently, in that this requires concentration and provokes introspection, and a desire to continue to develop. Guests from the world's biggest stars to leaders of inner-city gangs have lauded his seemingly innate ability to stimulate positive discussions without the need for confrontation.
