But, the author did such a good job with the Inkheart that I will read anything involving the Inkworld. She uses Orpheus to read herself, Basta, Mo and Resa back into the Inkworld where she promptly shoots Mo in the chest.

The plot is complicated, and Funke weaves a story of multiple characters with the true ease of a master. In Inkdeath, the books' names are directly addressed, translating the three regarding words directly (heart, blood, death). This is an involving story that will draw readers smoothly to its conclusion and le" --This text refers to an alternate kindle_edition edition. The other bright spot is Roxane, who alone among the dramatis personae is stoic, competent, and able to put the needs of others ahead of her own.
