You would have to run through each disc to find out what disc goes where which then ruins your watching experience. Apart from an excellent cast, whose well-drawn characters convinced and endeared us to this enthralling saga, we have to admire the sterling work of the entire Production Team, not least Gerard Glaister whose baby this was. The box set is of high quality and has a close fitting lid containing six standard width DVD cases each individually holding four discs which has all 78 episodes of the 1980s BBC drama series.

Having seen this remarkable series on BBC TV it was a joy to start watching the adventures of the Howard family once more at home in the United States, through this great collection of the entire 78 episodes. Title and incidental music, impressive cast list, likeable characters whom you care about, lots of intriguing plot developments and of course being filmed here in the Southampton area where I live were the main reasons why this show won me over so completely.

Good quality product, delivered super quick with no damage, picture quality to be expected for 80's TV but good nostalgic enjoyment nonetheless. In fact one can relate to some of the problems facing the cast eg alcoholism, relationship problems, financial wheeling and dealing and most of all sexism. The plot is complicated enough to make it addictive but without the awful violence and bad language that we are faced with today.
