About this deal

Now all we need is someone to create a little console version of a C64 with all the classic Lucasfilm games on it. At this point, you might be asking yourself, why would Atari style it like a 7800 - a system that went all but unnoticed during the NES era - and not like the far-more-popular VCS/2600, especially since the majority of the games included were VCS/2600 titles?

There are so many timeless classics built right into the console, Atari and retro fans are sure to be delighted.Anyways, I think I have my Flashback in the state that I want and with the games (220 total) I wanted, so I probably won't open it for a while now.

So what first seemed like a positive for the system (having A/V output) is quickly cancelled out, because none of the games are worth seeing, in any resolution. You have to make sure the game supports two players, then if the second player (when it’s that player’s turn) uses the player one controller or the player two controller. Everything seems just fine about 50% way through until it's time to start loading the games and then it's "What emulator? You know you have to move fast and be accurate to shoot those, yeah well, thats not happening with wireless sticks, moving on.

If I had only 40 titles to choose from, I can think of a LOT more worthwhile games to include that your average consumer likely would be familiar with, and not fillers like Wizard or Human Cannonball. As a lifelong gamer I have to admit, right now feels like the most interesting moment in gaming history.
