I wish I smelled what most people do, I can see the parts of this fragrance that are enjoyable like the sweetness. They're so different from each other and all have their unique twists and advantages over the original.

There is an absolutely unmistakable white floral note in this that I haven't really seen anyone else mention which I find surprising.Opens with a huge blast of harsh alcohol, never a concern to me though as it dissipates soon enough. That said, BTF is one of the highest quality designers I've smelled out there, and while AAO can't meet that bar, it does smell verry verry pleasant. An oriental wood sandalwood-oud combo with a synthetic general woodiness, a very sweet opening and a creamy vanilla throughout. I've got Lataffa Oud for Glory, and Geurlain L'homme Ideal Intense, and Ameer al Oud Intense is my favorite so far.

till today, as i accidentally sprayed it on my neck once thinking its another perfume and rushed to grab a tissue and wipe it off, even put several other strong perfumes on top with around 9 sprays. Clean smoke floods in, pervading the room because dad didn't open the floo quite all the way, but it doesn't overwhelm the other notes. I have thought about making this one a signature scent but it's just too cozy for me to put myself out there like that lol. With Kayali, the smokiness is more subdued and the vanilla is more pronounced and sweeter, but the notes are so similar.I expected it to be more creamy, warm and smooth, but it is sweet in a harsh and dusty way - it is depressing.
