I highly encourage you to read the manuals before you start cutting parts off the sprues, as the Immortals/Deathmarks use different pieces that are numbered, which you can see in the instruction manual and on the sprue, so you don't end up with not knowing which arms that are supposed to go together.r/Necrontyr's main purpose is to create a place where Necron lovers can gather and discuss fluff, table-top strategy, and show new players how to begin their journey as a Necron Overlord. It also helps that Admech are likely the worst army in the game from a dollars-to-points ratio standpoint, so any discounts you can get on the units you’ll likely take are worth it. For strictly competitive play this isn’t currently ideal, mostly because it’s gone big on Doomstalkers who are close to good enough (and did actually show up in a successful list recently, albeit at 1750pts) but not quite there, and Ophydians are still super squishy for their cost. The Immolator is cool but nothing beats what GW have described as a “long-range, missile-launching pipe organ cum-temple” no, Seriously, they did. And like we do every year, we’re going through the offerings and talking about which ones are a great deal and which ones are… not so great a deal. For casual players this is already decent – Doomstalkers are perfectlyfunctional in that environment, and you’d need to add minimal stuff to this to build an army that was perfectly playable on the tabletop.Make peace, not war… that is, unless no-one listens to reason, in which case you should just go ahead and make war better than them. If you’re looking to start a brand-new collection or take an existing army to the next level with some serious reinforcements, then the new Warhammer 40,000 Battleforces are just what you need. The Ghost/Doomsday Ark also recommends you painting certain parts before further assembly, so it would be wise to read that as well.
