These guys were making the first of it's kind, breaking the old two camera format mould and turning out wise-cracking, innapropriate genius comedy. Bruce Willis and Cybill Shepherd still have a lot of screen chemistry and their quick and witty banter is still very entertaining. but I would think that these days with so many DVD's not getting released because they had to change music in the episodes etc. The plots themselves were often standard mystery fare, things you'd find happening on Murder, She Wrote or some other detective show.It sounds too good to be true, but until recently so did season sets of Moonlighting with the original, ruinously, impossibly expensive original music. The banter between the two leads is reminiscent of His Girl Friday with barbed phrases being thrown about throughout the series with devastatingly comic effect. Trying to Google for info on a new release of the series, I found this 2017 interview with the show's creator Glenn Gordon Caron. I don't know if Moonlighting is available on blu but if it is then it would be at the correct speed and should be better picture quality than either version of the DVD. Aside from her looks and manner, she could also keep up with the Willis, throwing out quips just as rapidly as he did.

While the Emmy-winning Willis would abandon TV for the big screen, Shepherd found subsequent small screen success with Cybill . It’s fun to read if only to see how artfully Cybill Shepherd dodges the accusations of her being difficult and holding up production. Le dvd est très beau, il y a cependant des erreurs dans les intitulés des épisodes (dvd 4 comme dvd 2) ainsi que parfois brutalement la langue originale qui revient puis le français revient(sur un épisode de la saison 1) Tout ces détails mineurs sont largement oublié à la vision de cette série.
