The best way I can describe this effect is that the sound just seems like it is coming from a speaker placed in the center of my monitor. More than that, impossibly good designs from some companies out there has actually resulted in a range of pretty decent powered speaker performers, on a sonic level. My intention is to use these connected to my LG C1 OLED TV with an optical cable, but I would want the TV remote to control the sound volume. I thought they sounded nice when I played my "speaker test" playlist the first time, but each track really came alive when I added a matching Kanto SUB6 to round out the low end. With a lot of speakers as you move around, you hear more or less sound depending on where you are in relation to the speakers.
I do not know if you can modify the crossover on the YU4 to send lower frequencies solely to the subwoofer.
The review unit I was using was white, which had a cool kind of stormtrooper vibe, but if I had my choice, I think I would go for the bold gloss red option as a centerpiece.silk dome tweeter and 4" kevlar cone woofer for clear high and detailed midrange/midbass frequencies. Most people just want good-sounding speakers and headphones, they don’t have time to learn the lingo so we keep things simple. The detail and clarity work in harmony to make for a very pleasant listening experience with good spacing between instrumentation. My one biggest complaint was that there just wasn't enough low end for me coming from the 4” woofers. Right away I noticed the Kanto’s were worlds better than the desktop setups smaller speakers even though they are of a similar wattage and have an attached subwoofer.YU4’s 1-inch tweeters are constructed from silk to deliver a high-frequency range that is bright and refined.
