The premise sounds truly disgusting, and the cover conveyed the same idea, but in reality it is more darkly humorous than anything. First, have you seen The Human Centipede (First Sequence), or The Full Sequence, or The Final Sequence?I doubt most people enjoying this sort of humor, and some of the jokes weren't really my thing or overused, which is why I knocked off a star, seeing as the book wasn't incredibly long to begin with, but it still made for an enjoyable experience, and I may even read it again.

I'm only kidding - Adam has re-imagined yet another *[beloved] classic, and made The **[in]Human Santapede into what is sure to be one of my favorite things for many upcoming holiday seasons! The plot seems to center around a group of rich women who enjoy masturbating to images of the 9/11 attacks on New York. There are enough pop culture references and one-line zingers to make your head spin on your shoulders like Linda Blair. While the concept itself is utterly repugnant, the writing remains quite aloof and humourous throughout, without dwelling on the nasty particulars.

Instead what we have is a fast-paced, tightly written comedy that goes for the ‘Naked Gun’ approach by cramming in as many jokes as is (in)humanly possible, so that even with just a fifty-percent success rate, it’ll result in a near-constant flow of sniggering.
