From sub bass right through to the top end of my mixes, I'm hearing things in my mixes that I never knew were even there before! I set the HS8s with the tweeter at ear height, and a 22-degree angle crossing the tweeter axes at a point just behind my head in the typical listening position.

The treble is sharp, resonates nicely, the middle range is not suppressed by the other frequencies, the bass is definite and powerful. They’re best in bigger rooms and can’t be placed against a wall owing to the rear ported enclosures.
