Unlike Esquire, Grimmis never thought ill of his brother, and was unaware of Esquire's plans to become the "second" Death. In the Glaecon boss encounter, he does this at 1% health, but it fails again only to deal a large amount of damage to the raid.

Grimmis is an Aspect of Death entitling Sacrifice, and is the brother of Esquire, the Aspect of Death entitling Nothingness. On June 6th, 2023, Grimace took over the McDonalds Twitter [1], Facebook [2], Instagram [3] and TikTok [4]accounts to announce a birthday celebration beginning on June 12th. He wished to attain greater power and become a more powerful Aspect, and sought any opportunity he could to do so.His latest work is his original graphic novel THE GHOST, THE OWL from Action Lab Entertainment and SUPERMAN OF SMALLVILLE, Arkhamaniacs from DC Comics.

Art Baltazar started making comic books with the his self-published comic book, The Cray-Baby Adventures. The current voice of Grimace is voice actor Daniel Ross, who has also voiced Donald Duck, amongst other characters. The character was retained after the streamlining of the characters in the 1980s and was one of the few members to also be retained until the end of the McDonaldland commercials.
