So I didn’t read this book; I listened to it, which may be what saved me from some of the complaints about her writing. Then she talks about finally realizing she needs to learn to be alone and immediately hooks up with a 23 year old who she later tells him he’s helped her realize and get past Javier. Especially if you are dealing with heartbreak, are in or was in a toxic relationship, or just want to have a great laugh at the expense of somebody else's life. I wanted this to be a good book, I wanted to dive into its pages and find depth, instead I found this book to be as shallow as the author.I suppose a book about a rich actress who gets her heart broken and goes on a month trip to Europe wouldn’t t be as appealing. I know I already texted you, but again after 4 months passed reading your books I can feel the change in my life that is caused by you. Despite their breakup, she decides to go on the trip anyway and honestly thinks she is discovering Europe.

Like going to lunch with that friend, I found myself looking forward to the ending and doing anything else. So THANK YOU for helping me not being the broken girl anymore but the self loving woman that got healing and one day hopefully even closure. She thinks more highly of the 35 year old who can’t communicate effectively just because “he’s a MAN” and he speaks 5 languages. She kept me captivated from cover to cover and made me evaluate my own life’s choices each step of the way. This man lost his brother to suicide a year and half ago and was still battling with the depression that came with it.

While I didn't get to take an epic Europe adventure I think we can all relate to what one goes through to move on and forget something. Second: I don’t know how many times in those 200 pages she guffaws at people and says “it’s a long story!

The majority of women who read this book will at some stage feel the pain and know exactly what she has gone through. Even someone she obviously did not want to have sex with, she still went to his apartment and faked the big O! She details every single time a stranger asks what her story is and how shock and amazed they are by her “crazy” story. She partied with other Americans (or Canadians) across the major destination cities of Western Europe. While listening to your book, I feel as if I’m sitting across the table with a nice drink talking about our lives as friends.After the rug was vigorously pulled out from under her when her husband’s affair came to light, she found herself falling into the arms of another man.
