It is macerated with fresh bananas, vanilla and red fruits as well as some essence with a little sugar for a period of time in new French oak barrels. The Gold Rum is a mix of flavours, blending light baking spices, vanilla sweetness, and a hint of black peppercorn heat. As a single estate rum, the cane was grown, harvested and processed all in the same place, the Pampelmousses Estate in Mauritius.
