About this deal

I also like the index in the back which tells you which crystals help with certain ailments or intentions.

Nicholas Pearson has masterfully created a crystal and stone encyclopedia that every healer and magician should own. Her latest books The Ultimate Guide to Crystals Grids and The Crystal Companion draw on 45 years of crystal working, sharing in depth practical knowledge. In many liquids the first-neighbour atoms are arranged in the same structure as in the corresponding solid phase. It is not listed in the index at the back of the book and I can never seem to remember what color it's listed under. And the Crystal Prescriptions series, now up to volume 6 is an A-Z guide to using crystals for healing, EMF protection, kundalini rise and chakra activation, past life and ancestral healing and so much more.

The book is colour organised which is it's defining feature- excellent for identifying a crystal if you don't know the name and is very satisfying to flick through. As one of the leading voices in crystal healing today, he offers a unique blend of science and spirituality alongside a grounded, practical approach to working with crystals. Also included in this classic guide: A 16-page, full-color insert, new with this editionBirthstone and jewelry magic loreTables listing both planetary and elementary rulers of stones, magical intentions, and magical substitutions Learn all about the magical properties of crystals, gems and metals! After remaining on the kitchen counter for a day, the same cube becomes quite soft, and it is unclear if the butter should still be considered a solid. This book is so much better, it has photos of each of the crystals named and a good description as well as their metaphysical properties. If you are looking for the one book of crystal lore that you need on your reference shelf, Judy Hall’s encyclopedia is it.The smiths would bend the softened metal into shape and then pound it awhile; the pounding would make it polycrystalline again, increasing its strength. At the end of the book, when discussing quartz wand formations, the same image is used for 3 different examples. Cunningham reveals the secrets of over 100 different gems and metals, describing what they look like and explaining their long-hidden magical powers.

His adept guidance leads us through foundational knowledge of how and why crystals work, and he goes on to share an in-depth look at a truly amazing array of stones. Biography: Nicholas Pearson has been immersed in all aspects of the mineral kingdom for nearly 30 years.

Because the book addresses subjects relevant to both scientific interest and alternative therapy, it is highly recommended for collections focusing on geology or holistic therapies. This is a book that is more of a reference/scientific book, but it also contains the spiritual properties of the crystals/stones. On rare occasions, the ammonite fossilized shells became mineralized, exhibiting a striking iridescent play of color.
