About this deal

This additional diaphragm allows the driver to produce greater sonic output, creating a richer signal.

Again, i really appreciate that Headfonia discloses the financial arrangement, but it seems like this situation could bias the reviewer. As always, preference is key; expect to sacrifice some atmosphere and midrange warmth that, for some, may be the very reason they enjoyed the original so much. While it does still sound fairly BA-like, there is a longer decay than expected, alleviating some of the “dryness” commonly associated with BA bass. After accumulating nearly a million views, Stereophile demanded that those reviews be condensed into a blog, which (for technical reasons) would have made them nearly useless.

While it lacks the refinement of the more expensive dongles, it created a very enjoyable experience. This connector is being used to deliver super-duper high-frequency signals like Wi-Fi antennas, FPV drones video feed, or GPS. It feels more like an aroma rather than reverbs, making the bass feel mildly larger and bigger than Andromeda 2020. Both extend very well, the Solstice has a larger soundstage, both depth and width while the Andro’s imaging is slightly more holographic. A light warmth works in tandem with bolstered vocal body and upper-midrange density to produce a nice full and coherent note structure. The stainless steel nozzle from the original used to be separated into 3 bores while Andromeda 2020 has been applied with the grill-style nozzle design. As a part of the set, you’ll find three Time Stream cables: 3,5mm, 2,5mm balanced, and 4,4mm balanced. It shows a very crisp, vibrant, and airy sound signature that overall differ the most compared to all other Andromeda variations. The majority of non-audio impressions, as well as the specs, will be the same as the original Andromeda review we have covered already. The new, refined build is a direct improvement in terms of looks and ergonomics, the Emerald Sea is a worthy successor of the series and it smacks many more expensive IEMs in the mouth like it’s Will Smith at the Oscars.

e. Stereophile and their tentacles), but if the traffic were high enough in sellable review items, you and everyone else would know that too. While a controversial change in tuning is generating a lot of emotion-loaded comments, it is still an Andromeda, with all of the qualities that you are looking for in that series.Resolution and instrument separation on the Andromeda is a step ahead of the SA6 and its treble sounds a lot more complete as it doesn’t have a major dip like the SA6 does. Perhaps in some rock/metal tracks where the vocals mixing isn’t as clean you might run into a bit of a problem, but as a whole, it’s a non-issue. I think with the tuning adjustment here it seems the bass has more focused than usual (but not subbass, big difference).

I think the treble would be welcomed in some classic pieces, but I wouldn't be shocked if it will cause some listeners to cringe on some higher freq instruments. If manufacturers think that gifting the product might result in better reviews, and readers (at least this one) think that is what happen, how long will the reviewers be the only camp that maintains that gifted product has absolutely no impact whatsoever on reviews. The sound staging of both is very similar in style, but I feel that ES takes it a bit further, offering quieter background and more air.
