REALLY SAYING SOMETHING is the story of two friends who continue to pursue their dreams their way – and have a great time doing it.

The album was originally conceived as an EP; however, following the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown beginning, the group began working towards creating a full album. My 'favourite ' songs are Favourite, Masquerade, Velvet Lies , Stay Wild and Running with the Night. Legendary pop band Bananarama celebrate 40 sensational years of releasing music, chalking up an astonishing 30 chart hits and 30 million record sales.

Bananarama have always had a way with a remake but Keren says it was especially gratifying to cover a song that "is just so personal to us".

Bananarama announced that two album launch shows would take place at London Lafayette on 3 and 4 August 2022. For the past three decades, Bananarama’s Sara Dallin and Keren Woodward have been one of pop’s most influential and revered groups. Masquerade sees Bananarama reunite with producer Ian Masterson, with whom they also worked on 2019's ' In Stereo' – their highest-charting album since the late '80s – and 2009's ' Viva'. A limited edition deluxe of the album MASQUERADE is out now in North America on double blue and silver vinyl including 6 full length remixes*. The result is a tremendously entertaining electro-dance album that sounds both fresh and quintessentially Bananarama.

The track is a cover of Alice D's track of the same name and is one of two covers on the album, the other being "Brand New".

We've done a different take on it but with Alice on backing vocals because we couldn't not use her ad libs, they're just too good. The single was added to the B-List of the BBC Radio 2 playlist and made 'Single of the Week' upon release, before moving onto the A-List the following week.
