The four sections of the screen near the corners are noticeably darker than the center, which is distracting when watching sports or anything displaying large areas of a uniform color. There’s some blurring on fast motion like sport, and the TV lacks the necessary frame interpolation features to address this, but it handles 24p content without introducing judder, and movies retain a pleasing film-like quality. The Samsung has a much higher contrast ratio, resulting in deeper blacks in a dark room and better uniformity. It has a great viewing angle and good uniformity, ensuring the screen remains uniform, even at the sides, when you're sitting close to the TV.

This is fairly common with 4,000 and 10,000 nits content, but the A6G was also clipping images graded at 1,000 nits. DTS Virtual X Enjoy an immersive audio without the need for height speakers, the bass perception engages you into the center of a performance.

The TCL is a bit brighter, so if you don't care about gaming features, it has slightly better picture quality and can better overcome glare.

They also have different panel types, and the U6H has much better contrast, while the A6H has a wider viewing angle. Unlike the higher-end Hisense ULED TVs, like the Hisense U7H or Hisense U8/U8H, this TV has no HDMI 2. Sadly, like most TVs with 60Hz panels, it can't remove judder from 60Hz sources like most cable boxes. The frequency response isn't well balanced above the LFE, either, so dialogue is a bit muddy, and there's no room correction feature.When you couple that with frequent sales, if what you’re looking for is a really cheap TV that’s still relatively modern in terms of specs and features, Hisense is almost always a brand worth considering. It's significantly worse than this TV's successor, the Hisense A6/A65K, which uses a PFS phosphor coating to achieve a much wider color gamut.
