About this deal
I can tell from the story that's what is happening, but neither the vocab list nor the glossary translate the words. I’ve recently been doing extensive reading and listening to improve my Spanish, in addition to speaking.
The narrator in these stories speaks at a quick enough pace that it doesn't seem unnatural, but clearly and slowly enough for me to understand 95% of what is being said.
Eight stories in a variety of exciting genres, from science fiction and crime to history and thriller - making the process fun while you learn a wide range of new vocabulary. You’ll finally be able to enjoy reading in Spanish, grow your vocabulary in a natural way, and improve your comprehension at the same time. The first story is a quite easy read but once you go forward you’ll need the higher lever of Spanish.
Side note: This might just be a problem with my version, but I couldn’t help but feel that this book lacked some editing. However for familiarising yourself with these factors and using alongside your learning I think it is worthy of having in your library. You'll enjoy reading in Spanish, grow your vocabulary in a natural way, and improve your comprehension at the same time.Short stories from a variety of compelling genres, from science fiction and crime to history and thriller, so you’ll have great fun reading, whilst learning a wide range of new vocabulary and rapidly improving your Spanish comprehension! There's a section titled "How to Read Effectively" and "The Six-Step Reading Process," which I found to be really cool. I was looking for a more casual reading experience that didn't necessarily feel like I was supposed to be learning as I read.
