The movie struggles to maintain a consistent rhythm, occasionally feeling sluggish and dragging out certain scenes unnecessarily. So unfortunately even though I did love the book and seeing what was written before the movie changed some things, it was also a slight disappointment. Noah found her glue in the boy who used to tease her and taunt her but ultimately fell hard for her.However, it is there where she meets Nick, her new stepbrother, and the clash of their strong personalities becomes evident from the very beginning. Nick and Noah bursts out into another fight which ends up with Nick dropping Noah off in the middle of the road.
