For safety, when the vacuum is lifted off the ground, the steam feature is paused, which prevents it from overheating.

The SteamWave technology is quite impressive, and when selecting steam mode, it provides a constant heated steam to remove messes and stains from hard floors. The vacuum first cleans then dries the rolling brush and prompts you to remove and empty the dirty water tank. It’s true that the Mach V1 Ultra is on the heavy side and certainly isn’t built for stairs, but if you are looking for a quality all-rounder for your carpets and hard floors, then the Mach V1 Ultra certainly ticks a lot of boxes. For less tech-savvy home-bodies, connecting a non-robot vacuum cleaner to the internet to fix a blockage just wouldn’t be on the to-do list.
