About this deal

It is light and heavy at the same time, which is what gives it its strange, girlish charm - the musks give it a lifted, spacey feel, while the violet and licorice candy stuffs it up, giving it a thickened, gummied feel. There isn't much to add that hasn't already been said (and much more eloquently than I'm capable), particularly as far as the technical aspects of it, but LL is a one-of-a-kind and magical star anise-violet-cherry-vanilla-musk dream. Some days it's that beautiful, dark licorice and wood and powdery violet with a hint of sour cherry, and some days it goes super sour and punchy. The only downside is that this scent develops into a very powdery almost baby powder-esque fragrance with my skin chemistry.

I bought this perfume inspired by the stunning bottle, one of the most beautiful ever created, in my opinion.Fragrant notes of Liquorice, Cherry and Labdanum rockrose creates a subtle blend of sensations that stirs the senses. On that occasion she published a book celebrating 20 years of design (« Lolita Lempicka : 20 ans de création"). Sometimes it's sort of phenolic and sometimes it's almost bubblegummy, I think because of the citrus top notes in that one.

Lempicka's designs are also influenced by "the thirties and forties and their lace and silk negligee dresses, 18th-century Baroque and its dainty marchionesses". She has dressed the mythical Lampe Berger, the scented bouquet and the Maison Berger Paris candle in purple, transparent reflections, specks of gold, ivy leaves and a dragonfly.I have used this fragrance for 20 years, I don’t know if they have removed anything from the fragrance but it’s definitely not the same , it isn’t so strong and does not last like it used to, no one can smell it on me ! In 2003, after studying art and fashion, Lolita's twins Lauren Leslie and Paulina Leonor joined the family business. The two aren't even particularly similar, except that people seem to feel strongly one way or the other about both. Lolita Lempicka is extremely smooth and extremely linear, showing almost no change from top to base. But it soon gives way to a promise of sweetness with an oriental and sensual bouquet of liquorice notes.

The base, consisting of tonka bean, creamy wood, cistus and caramel, adds even more sweetness and sensuality to the whole. And it is, as Brian Buchanan notes, very dissonant, with the tension between the edible licorice accord and the poisonous ivy.Rights: access, rectification and deletion of data, as well as other rights, as explained in the additional information, which can be consulted in our Privacy Policy. Original review 07/29/11: “I hate licorice, I hate star anise, every time I've tried this perfume on I felt like I was suffocating. In the early 2000s, Pedro Winter, the Parisian music producer of Daft Punk and DJ, arranged the music of her fashion shows.
