About this deal

Welcome to a strange and twisted world where the spooky, the shocking, and the positively petrifying are lurking just out of sight. This means that while veteran horror fans might easily guess a story's ending, the ride there is still entertaining.

It has a weak ending, and as in previous tales, some of the devices for moving the plot along are clunky. You can say it's down to length but plots often felt rushed, and this isn't the case in all short stories.

These questions change the narrative of the story and provide it with more mystery and moral then horror and disgust. Would have been better if Gary’s grandma warns him about nature’s creature and why he should respect the countryside. The endings were predictable, the scariest one was probably the lift because the whole concept of cannibalism is scary in it's own right. The language is easy to read (the book was primarily meant for kids) and the book can be finished in one go if you can spare a couple of hours. Flight 715 – A girl has a nightmare, in which she foresees that the airliner which is about to fly her family home from a vacation in Vancouver is destined to crash.

Anthony Horowitz was brought up on horror stories and his childhood love of all things sinister and scary has stayed with him. The Shortest Horror Story Ever Written – An add-on to the book purportedly written by a maniac, not Anthony Horowitz. Excellent narrative, super Not being an axe murderer (Bath Night) or a satanist (Killer Camera) the possessed computer seems less interested in murder. Not necessarily dead bodies and dripping blood, but the shadows that lie just outside our vision, the secrets behind closed doors.

However, I feel the story was overtly complicated and the ending leaves more questions then answers. You can change your choices at any time by visiting Cookie preferences, as described in the Cookie notice.

It's a collection of Horowitz's horror stories and I felt like each story is scarier than the other. The future is no secret anymore in Light Moves, but Ethan Sly should get worried when other people notice his good luck. Mis cuentos favoritos fueron: El hombre de la cara amarilla, El horrible sueño de Harriet y Hora de bañarse. Timothy's aunt, who no longer loves her husband, has replaced the sun tan lotion with cooking oil, burning her husband's skin.Harriet’s Horrible Dream” is about a rich young white girl being sold by her bankrupt parents to a shady restaurant owner, where she assumes she will be put to work. The short stories were great, my only problem was that each story was quite predictable in its ending, but that doesn't take away much from the stories themselves because they were still rather interesting (the reason for the 4 stars). He manages to find them and is relieved to hear that they have not taken any pictures of each other – until he is told that his brother took a picture of the London skyline.
