When the local murder of a young boy by his babysitter (Rohan Campbell) is framed by the media as a copycat killing in the style of Myers, it instigates a re-emergence of violence which convinces Laurie to confront Myers and end things once and for all. Halloween (2018) started on an exciting note only to lose its path with Halloween Kills and never recovered with this final chapter.

Laurie, after allowing the specter of Michael to determine and drive her reality for decades, has decided to liberate herself from fear and rage and embrace life.

At the end of the day what we see here is another new trilogy that failed to live up to its potential. Clarity/Detail: Halloween Ends comes to 4K Ultra-HD Blu-ray with roughly the same quality as the previous 2 films, though this one has a rather more 70s look and feel to its aesthetic (Could be the editing and camera work too). Sharing sonic qualities with its predecessor, it gets the basics absolutely right – there’s a huge dynamic and tonal range present in the English Atmos track: bass is deep and driven by the punchy bass notes of the score and diegetic music, while the chunky mid-range delivers a lively score and sound effects track.

Movements are cinematic and smooth with no issues from any sort of quick camera movements or character actions causing a jitter or blur. Hair is fine and clearly delineated, while skin pores and fine lines are clear, while clothing has subtle yet obvious differentials in their overall texture. Es kommt zu einer tödlichen Konfrontation zwischen Laurie und Michael, wie sie das Kino noch nie zuvor gesehen hat. This temporary final franchise entry comes home to 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray with an excellent Dolby Vision transfer, Atmos audio, and a smattering of bonus features.

The more modern themes that each film has are indeed hugely relevant and should be expected to be played out across horror films produced in the 21 st century. For the week that ended on December 31st, Universal Pictures Home Entertainment's Halloween Ends finally took the top spot on the Blu-ray-only chart from Paramount Home Media Distribution's Top Gun: Maverick, ending the sequel's eight weeks in a row on top of that . If there’s been one constant with this new trilogy it's each film has scored an excellent 4K transfer, and that trend continues with this 2160p Dolby Vision presentation of Halloween Ends. Depth: Depth of field is pretty impressive with good pushback and scale on display throughout the film.
