The vanilla and white musk notes do a wonderful job of elegantly balancing the incense smell such that it isn't overpowering or cloying. It’s sweet and powdery, but it has this airy quality to it that makes it easy to wear during the day too. It's just a really beautifully created fragrance which never fails to make me feel good when wearing it.
The overall effect the perfume has is to smell like some sort of heavenly manna, a honey from the Gods.Then it calms down a bit but changes completely turning into a lovely smooth scent of vanilla, orchid some oakmoss maybe ? I am not very good at describing notes, maybe because I am not all that interested in always dissecting them; I like it to remain whole. Not a juvenile scent probabily 25 years plus it's not loud but not soft either she is a femme fatale she knows how to get what she wants. The trace is dominated by two woodsy notes: creamy rosewood and dense oak moss absolute, while the powdery and sensual Tonka and vanilla end the composition.
Something about it is just a little off to me, its n not bad but it doesn't enchant me, though the idea of it does. The vanilla here is not sugary sweet and is perfectly blended with the oakmoss, the thyme and the mandarin orange, without becoming bitter or too fresh. In the beggining you get the zafron, then is strong vanilla, (remind me of the Poison family) but is happy yet heavy scent that makes a statement. But it's a deceiving lightness, on the surface only and ultimately an illusion and underneath this pseudo lightness is actually a darker, denser perfume than addict, but these two more extreme sides balance out to give off a vibe that is just like addict. The new formulation is nowhere near as potent and it feels to me like the heart has been ripped out of this fragrance.Below you can see the longest potential duration for storage on a device, as set when using the cookie method of storage and if there are any other methods used. For me, the tonka bean and woodsy notes give off a nutty forest kind of vibe, on one hand; on the other, there is the floral combination that's an essence of its own.
Not the disney type of interpretation of a fairy , but a beautiful but dark and mysterious fairy that can poison you if you get on her bad side. I have this beauty for at least 8 years now, the juice is dark of colour now but it still has the same performance. Florals mixed with vanilla, oakmoss, a touch of wood, a touch of something a little cold (not quite sure what that is . I have received compliments wearing this which surprises me as I don’t feel it meshes with me skin chemistry.It reminds me of vanilla icecream one moment, a night time garden the next, and a fantasy temple for a dark goddess right after that.
