About this deal

You can spray this on your shirt at 5PM, go out have a nice night, go to sleep, wake up the following morning, take your shirt out of the hamper, and you can very clearly smell the fragrance. If those sort of conditions improve the performance or cause any of the notes to pop, I will update this review accordingly.

Created by Jacques Cavallier, master perfumer, you won’t find the abrasive elements of the ‘modern’ synthetic smelling scents from Bvlgari. But most importantly, BPH makes me feel the same way those scents do - vital, assured, masculine, empathetic. I appreciate the relaxing tea vibe this fragrance gives off, but if I have to be brutally honest this fragrance smells like a wet teabag. Besides, I did expect the cap to be metal (like the same bottle design for women), but it is bad quality chromed light weight plastic! Bulgari extreme smells like Versace man eau fraiche in the beginning and end smells like Leau D Issey EDT for women which I really love but still haven't get it for my collection till now.Almost a dead ringer for montblanc's "Starwalker" with just a touch less citrus and a hair more sandalwood creaminess. I started with Bvlgari Pour Homme and was already loving it but when the Extreme version came out that’s all I ever wanted to spray on. It outperforms BPH at getting that specific message across, even though it does it a little differently. The old version does this best, the new version opens with less of a pop of citrus and more of an immediate pepper with fruit. I want to like this fragrance because it has so many notes I enjoy and it was compounded by one of my favorite noses.

Bvlgari pour Homme, composed by Jacques Cavellier and released in 1996, is an aromatic citrus fragrance, underpinned by musk. Compared to the original Bvlgari Pour Homme (which is quite good as well), Extreme is more noticable and has more longevity and projection. I don't care about extreme projection or 12 hours+ performance, I'm more concerned about the scent, and this one smells really good. Purchased a decant recently just for nostalgia, and while it did conjur some memories, it saddened me at how differnt it has become.I fell in love with the drydown of this fragrance, the creamy woodiness is somewhat reminiscent of Chanel style. The visual I get when wearing this is meditating in a Zen or Buddhist temple garden high up in the mountains and Winter and Spring are melding together.
