The detune option mixes a subtle pitch shift with your original guitar tone for a spacey, ambient sound that isn’t a million miles away from a chorus or tremolo, but different enough to stand out on its own. The harmony mode takes your original note or chord and reproduces your original sound plus a version of your sound that is at a different pitch. Please note the all Mooer micro series pedals must be powered by a 9V DC adapter (not supplied) as they're so economical on pedal board space you can't even fit a 9V battery in! while others help us to improve your experience by providing insights into how the site is being used. Whether you want to add a pitch-shifted chorus twinge to your signal or a focused polyphonic voicing, the Pitch Shift plays well as a standalone effect and adds new dimensions to fuzz and distortion pedals. It's a really handy addition to avoid carrying a capo and it's also great for drop tuning (within reason).

The pitch box from Mooer is an impressive pitch shifter featuring three different modes which range from shifting your whole signal up or down to detuning for a sort of chorus effect. The reason it sounds so bad when the Mooer Pitch Box does it is because it keeps your original sound intact and then adds another version to it either a couple of cents sharp or flat. The biggest difference between harmony and pitchshift is that Harmony adds a note to your original sound where as pitch shift takes your original sound and shifts it either up or down. This means that if I set the box to play a major 3rd above the note I am producing it will always play a major 3rd. The rotary control then selects the interval of the pitch shift, taking you all the way up - or down - two octaves.

Which means knowing a little bit of music theory and having a trained ear can help you find the sound you are looking for faster. Mooer pedals are all True Bypass: when the pedal is turned off, the guitar signal is not transmitted through the circuits, but directly from the input to the output, which can guarantee the neutrality of the sound of the instrument in off mode. The only bad thing, is that when it`s turned on, it gives a noticeble noise, that is not very pleasent.
