Opening: Smells like when you pushed a finger on the ashes on a dead campfire and the smoke and ash bursts on your face but there's a hint of wet diaper (I assume that's the oud) as if telling you that someone threw a diaper at the campfire when it was alive. I wanted to like this as I have tobacco touch and Toscano leather and enjoy them, but I think reading some reviews before it came had me worried about the saliva note, and whilst it isn’t overly pungent, it is slightly there for me. To my nose this comes across very similar to ysl m7 oud absolu, but slightly stronger and more woodiness in the base.
