I don’t get the comparison to Sauvage Elxir at all, I get more similarities to Sauvage edp with enough twists that Ambassador smells completely unique in the air.

The reason why the “reminds me of” section is so jumbled is because that’s what Ambassador is: a messy concoction of several popular fragrances from the last few years with an added syrupy mango. Their goals were to express their passion for perfume in a new way, while also collaborating with renowned perfume makers with a clear vision. It starts with fresh apple and mandarin and after just a few minutes the spicy, fruity, and floral notes come.The opening is very sweet, syrupy sweet, like some kind of cocktail, but I can't really describe it properly since I'm not an expert. I can see how people might think this is similar to Dior Sauvage Elixir, but they're only a BIT similar (and that's mostly in the opening because on the dry down they go two completely different directions) because the vetiver and moss smokiness peek out, other than that, these two are very different. It opens with a refreshing burst of citrusy and fruity notes, including bergamot, lemon, and blackcurrant, which immediately awaken your senses and provide a vibrant and uplifting start. The interplay with lavender, peony, pepper, patchouli and mango results in wonderful accents in the Eau de Parfum Spray. But after that initial hit settles it leaves you with a pleasant aura which will definitely get you compliments. I don't recommend this as an office scent, instead I think it's more for parties, or outdoor wearing due to it being really strong. Perfumes are often designed with top, middle and base notes, and designed to smell different based on the time after application. However both I think are perfect summer fragrances, as they are both fresh and peppery, which would work amazing in hot humid weather.

Cannot for the life of me understand how anyone could say that they dislike this, UNLESS they aren't into masculine, spicy, poweful fragrances.The fragrance contain notes of apricot, pear, tagetes, bergamot, violet leaved, plum, tuberose, rose, freesia, raspberry, vanilla, tonka bean, patchouli, sandalwood, musk and cedar. I got both the 50ml and 100ml for a big discount so that may affect my score as I wouldn't pay more necessarily. I'm not the biggest fan of Sauvage, but this smells much smoother, sweeter, more depth/complete version of Sauvage. If the item comes direct from a manufacturer, it may be delivered in non-retail packaging, such as a plain or unprinted box or plastic bag. This structured very similarly to Sauvage but slightly smoother and sweeter but probably to the point that people will guess you are wearing Sauvage at least in the first hour.

Top notes are Apricot, Pear, Tagetes, Bergamot and Violet Leaves; middle notes are Plum, Tuberose, Rose, Raspberry and Freesia; base notes are Vanilla, Tonka Bean, Patchouli, Sandalwood, Musk and Cedar. To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average.Later it gives off a strong body odor note, like dirty skin that you sprayed perfume on to cover it up instead of taking a shower.
