I’ve traveled with Farpoints for years and have personally decided to upgrade to this latest edition. We know it doesn’t seem like a huge deal, but having padded carry handles is great when you’re loading/unloading your bag. This backpack is also the kind that has a zip going right the way round like a suitcase, unlike a toploader.The main complaint people have about the big bag is that there isn’t much of a built-in organizational system. It has very handy handles on both the main and day packs which lend confidence when grabbing the pack from any side or angle, with or without the day pack attached, off a baggage carousel or anywhere else you might be grabbing and tossing it.
