Normally when I read a book, I’m all about the highlights, notes and bookmarking the pages but I got to tell you, with Don’t Kiss The Bride? I loved the connection these two had and watching them become friends and fall for one another was so fun and lovely. she was just written in such a way, i was helpless to share her trauma, to agonisingly relate to every single thing about her.

It was the most exaggerated trauma dump I have ever experienced in my life since I've picked up a Colleen Hoover book. He has a good construction company business, his own house, and he keeps to himself most of the time. So, he asked her to temporarily marry him so she could use his insurance until she could stand on her own. Nothing major stuck out to me as troublesome about the audio, and it definitely helped me get invested in the story.The good news is that the hero is a genuinely kind guy, and he assumes the role of caretaker well… which makes the fact that it’s a romantic relationship even creepier. While I’ve liked this author’s books before, I couldn’t get over the fact that the heroine was 18 and he was old enough to be her father. As the crowd around them applauds, the film ends with the camera panning away from the couple as they kiss. Endless tousled blonde hair, long, tan legs, flat stomach, pink, pouty lips shiny with gloss, torn jeans, and cowboy boots. The cover kinda creeps me out, honestly (especially once I learned their ages), but I was super curious about the concept, and I love a good marriage of convenience.
