About this deal

I like that the dermatologist starts you off with a strength that’s appropriate for your skin type and concerns, it gets rid of all the guesswork! I'd give the product itself 4/5 for its effect on the skin, but minus 5 for the huge cardboard box it arrived in, when the bottle itself is only a few inches long.

I’ve noticed a difference in my skin since using Azelaic in terms of pigmentation, redness and overall tone of my skin. While this product works great for rosacea, acne-prone skin, and it’s pregnancy-safe, it feels a bit chalky and gritty on the skin. Azelaic Acid 20% Cream is more lightweight on the skin than a moisturiser and absorbs very quickly with an undetectable finish.for those who used a main competing prescription azalaic acid 20% product, and are wondering how it compares, the small pump dispenser bottle is much more refined for your dressing table than a tube of toothpaste and easier to control how much comes out, also easier to transport. Cassandra didn’t find that it helps with redness, and we want azelaic acid to help with acne, redness, and brightness.

You aren’t likely to notice a difference when you’re looking at skin every day, so it’s really nice to see the photos side by side (if not a bit cringe). I went for the Skin Glow treatment plan as, though I did have a couple of breakouts at the time, my main concern was dullness. However for the non-sensitive areas it worked like a charm and made my melanin inhibitor even more effective than before.

This is an azelaic cleanser, and yes, it works for rosacea or pityrosporum folliculitis, better known as “fungal acne” or malassezia, a yeast that causes fungal infection.Any retinoid enthusiast will have come across Dermatica’s personalised formulas… but did you know they have their own skincare line too? I can't use my Dermatica formula, did not have the opportunity to review it before it shipped, and my request for a refund has not been addressed. I’d say it takes about 30 seconds to a minute to fully achieve that oil texture, so don’t be disheartened if it doesn’t melt down right away.

You just fill out the form online about skin condition and concerns and skin condition, upload photos of your skin, and then their team of experts will come up with a personalised formula that will address your problems. Keep reading to find out more about this powerful cream and why you need this in your skincare routine. Azelaic Acid is fantastic for acne sufferers as it helps reduce inflammation as well as fading any pigmentation that has been left behind by spots.I carried on using the treatment this way and though I still experienced some dryness, it was nowhere near as bad as it was before! But I can tell my skin has become more accustomed to it and I’m hopeful that in a few months I won’t experience any irritation at all! I started off using the cream every other night, on a freshly cleansed face, and soon found that my skin was getting quite dry and irritated. Use it once and your spots won't disappear overnight, but use it regularly and I'm sure you'll see an improvement. I found out years ago that Azelaic Acid is a reliable treatment for my acne and generally had a good effect on my skin all round, but I’ve not found it easy to get my hands on it.
