About this deal

Stainless steel tube, Kunifer pipe, stainless steel braided TFE brake and clutch hose (with and without black PVC cover), fuel hose with neoprene cover or stainless braided outer, Acetylene and master cylinder gravity feed tube. I knew I should have left the old lines in place and just changed the cylinders (that’s a joke by the way! The sustem has a metal Bundy pipe along the back of the engine from the master cylinder and impossible to access with engine in the car. I did find it was hard then just snapped together, only to find I had routed the pipe over rather than under near the bulkhead but was able to wiggle the whole thing to the point of being correct. The connector wouldn't separate in the manner described elsewhere on the Forum and that turned out to be connected with the reason why it cracked in the first place.

Neoprene fuel hose - single textile braid reinforcement and smooth black neoprene cover complies with British standard BS Au108/2-L4/C4/R for fuel hose. Infact if the clutch pipe is off its only a few minutes job to remove the bulkhead adapter itself and take that as well. If the item comes direct from a manufacturer, it may be delivered in non-retail packaging, such as a plain or unprinted box or plastic bag. Guess what, the little rubber bung has been sitting in my oil drain pan for two months, after two oil changes as well. Mainly used for brake and clutch lines where, due to its small size, the weight penalty is not too significant. Please also ensure that you have the necessary tools, knowledge and experience before working on fuel, brake and clutch and systems.

All our clutch fluid pipes are from trusted brands in the motoring industry, so you can count on them to be reliable and of excellent quality. AN specification refers to ‘dash’ sizes, arrived at by multiplying the nominal bore of the hose by 16, hence ½” hose is -8.

The Fiat "Quick Release" connector for the clutch line suffers a classic example of disimilar meta corrosion.

We also have a massive range of lubrication spares, crankshaft drive spares, and timing control parts. It appears that moisture/road-salt has entered around the joint and seized it together, possible expanding in the process and cracking the connector. To accurately identify manufacturer specified vehicle model year (which can frequently be different to year of registration), please enter your 17 digit (vehicle identification number) VIN or Chassis number below.

Due to its very low ratio of expansion to pressure, this hose has proved to be ideal for use on flexible lines in competition vehicle braking and clutch systems providing a desirable hard pedal with reduced travel. These include flywheels, so you'll have everything you need to repair this part of your car in one bundle. Edited by Sardonicus on Friday 6th November 16:42Thanks Simon, Adrian Venn also came back with the following on face Book.

Stainless Steel braided fuel hose - suitable for commercial fuels and fuel mixtures up to a maximum of 50% Benzol. Additionally, if it is a simple coupling does anyone know what sort of pressure the system operates at, so that I can get the correct part? I found that I had accidentally routed the pipe over rather than under an air conditioner line but disconnected it from the M/C and positioned it correctly. After 2009 the pipe has a swage collar 10-15 mm along its length either end and the nylon locking plug is split into 4 for about half its length and is a clip fit on the pipe this part number plug is 215615B I may have to see if the later pipe is available of go to a hydraulic hose company and have one made. The only thing is that I can't move the plastic collar on the fitting to disconnect; has anyone got any hints please? No problem mate and thanks for all your help so far, ordinarily I'd just whip the pipe off but the car is used too regularly to have it laid up. If subjected to continuous flexing the stainless-steel strands can eventually fracture and could penetrate the Teflon liner - vehicles should be regularly inspected for signs of wear. You can you tube how to release the connector bit after years of salt grit etc it could be almost impossible to separate? Designed for under bonnet use with push in fittings secured with worm drive clamps or similar fittings in smaller sizes i. We do not offer any guarantee of their suitability for any purpose beyond usage on off road vehicles under conditions of regular inspection.
