Wipe off the excess with a clean cloth, first buff against the grain and then finish in the direction of the grain.

This is a great technique for bringing out the character of the wood, as well as creating a washed coastal look. If you want to adjust the amount of White Wax anywhere, you can do this using Clear Chalk Paint™ Wax – it acts almost like a magic eraser!

Buff the Surface: Following the removal of excess product, buff the surface to reveal the beautiful, whitened grain. Applied with a brush is easiest way to control the amount used -make sure you use gloves and a brush you don't need for anything else. Important: Always test product on a spare surface or inconspicuous area for colour, compatibility and end result. Liberon Liming Wax is a white wax that can be used to create a limed effect on hardwoods (where the softer parts of the grain are removed) or it can be used as a "white washed" type effect on softwoods.
