There’s a lot of generic ‘Rocker’ wigs, I chose this one because I liked how the roots were a bit darker than the rest of the hair, which I felt matched the movie a bit better. I gave the raised bits of the costume a bit more of the brown paint to try and bring out the details a bit more, before also spraying everything with a layer of glossy sealant. Once I was happy with how things were looking, I did one last final test of the collar piece, this time scaling it up to full size. There’s only one strap that goes around the waist, I found that the foam chest piece is so light and well shaped to my torso that I didn’t need anything else to keep it in place, even while walking around.

It revolves around 16-year-old Sarah‘s ( Jennifer Connelly) quest to reach the center of an enormous otherworldly maze to rescue her infant half-brother Toby, whom Sarah accidentally wished away to Jareth, the Goblin King ( David Bowie). If you watch the scene from Labyrinth where Jareth is wearing this costume, you can see that the blue cape has a sort of sparkle to it.I drafted proper sleeves for the tunic as the existing pattern was designed with detached sleeves held to the shirt with cording. With all the puffed sleeves and mullet hairstyles anyone could possibly hope for, you'll feel like you're reliving this Jim Henson classic in no time. I used the shoulder pieces of the collar armour as a starting point, similar to the chest piece I wanted to try and get the edges to line up as properly as I could.

Beverly Hillbillies’s costumes are a long-sleeved button-down poplin shirt, retro boot cut blue jeans, brown work boots, Y-shaped heavy-duty brown suspenders, and a wide-brim brown classic western hat for Jed Clampett; a long-sleeved button-down red plaid shirt, regular blue boot jeans, brown work boots, and a blue denim jacket for Jethro Bodine; a short-sleeved blue shirt with buttons, frayed blue denim shorts, a brown leather belt, and brown cowboy ankle boots for Elly May; and a peter pan collar floral blouse, a vintage brown midi skirt, lace-up brown boots, a brown cardigan sweater, a white waist apron, a colonial mob hat, and round gold-rimmed glasses for Granny Moses.
