Very French sometimes dark but love George Simeon an these movies are great if you like foreign movies It has sub titles but Bruno Cremer was the perfect Maigret.

By the way, Rupert Davies recorded a really fun song in 1963, about pipe smoking, “Smoking My Pipe” . The relationship between actors who assume the roles of associate investigators, or victims, or witnesses, are convincing.I am a huge fan of the MhZ International Mystery series where you can catch this show every few weeks.
