About this deal

I loved how Amy wrote of how close her immediate family are and how they can always cherish that and support each other.

I really enjoyed hearing more about Amy's life, as well as the life of Katie, her brother and sister, and Katie's children and ex partners. The 103 third parties who use cookies on this service do so for their purposes of displaying and measuring personalized ads, generating audience insights, and developing and improving products. I hope she one day reads up about these types of people and realises that their behaviour is on them, not her.

I just hope she and the whole family get a break as I do think over the years they’ve had a lot of negativity unfairly many times too . We will post your book review within a day or so as long as it meets our guidelines and terms and conditions.Makes me realise that situations make people become complicated and though you do not have to like them maybe they are the way they are for a reason. This book isn't biased and she really does give some of her family's life choices a good going over. I wanted to read this and as the proceeds are all going to good causes I felt good about reading it. Ebooks fulfilled through Glose cannot be printed, downloaded as PDF, or read in other digital readers (like Kindle or Nook).

This book certainly does, and Amy really doesn't hold back on her thoughts and opinions on her daughters life. A talented swimmer, she seemed destined for the Olympics, however experience of sexual abuse cut short her career, and she chose motherhood over medals. As a grandparent to Katie’s son Harvey, Amy has also become a prolific campaigner for families of children with disabilities – but there was one battle she had to fight alone.I've listened to the audio version of this over the last week and I've got to say the narrator is great. While i dont think kate is innocent or has been willing to take responsibility i do feel for the amount of crap shes gotten unfairly and she is undoubtedly a strong woman.

I think real people see through the headlines but unfortunately headlines are there to manipulate people. I enjoyed this book a lot, it made me also see katie in a different light aswell, she is an amazing mum to harvey and as a mum to 2 disabled children I actually find her an inspiration. A well written memoir and an in interesting insight into how fame can have such a far reaching impact on loved ones.

Amy seems like a supportive caring parent and there is no doubt the family all care for one another. Now the book is a best seller, not only does Amy have the last word but she’s also had the last laugh.
