About this deal

Unfortunately for those who would like other steps to follow on improving their own lives to give the most outreach there is nothing much else given so just read it for the good message then possibly keep it as a reminder to do good or pass it on to whoever else may need to hear this little message. We get that the protagonist is an entomologist and she is crazy about it but the leaning on those parts way too much felt supernumerary. The main characters behaviour annoyed the heck out of me, she was always the victim… A whole lot of questions were posed, the mythology suggested, but never explored, the characters weren’t able to resolve any of the problems set up during the novel and then the book just ended.

My mind overflows with plethora of plot ideas and I pen them down to keep track of my thought process. While some books take a while to draw you in, with this one I was fully immerse in the story on page one and loved it! When asked to think back to a single poet whose words inspired her to transform her love of language from a creative outlet to a way of living, her answer was unhesitating. The Butterfly Effect is a haunting, yet whimsical, fable about a child's extraordinary adventure to a place where one's state of mind creates one's reality. The Butterfly Effect not only Lamar's powerful impact on music but also on our current society, especially under the weight of police brutality, divisive politics, and social injustice.

I would have liked it more if the author had elaborated on certain examples or provided more personal anecdotes to support the message he was trying to deliver. In “The Butterfly Effect” these stories are explained in more detail, and others are interwoven so we truly see how the flapping of the wings of our decisions today can have an influence half-way around the world tomorrow. Excerpts and links may be used, provided that full and clear credit is given to Casey Carlisle with appropriate and specific direction to the original content. I read the blurb and looked at this beautiful cover filled with lot of butterflies and I was immediately drawn towards this book.

Its premise: to boldly reclaim space within the world of birding—a field traditionally occupied by white scientists and enthusiasts—by tearing away at the often invisibilized boundaries between races, disciplines, and landscapes. Following his death by cancer at age 25, his friends, family, and colleagues alike worked to make sure his legacy would never be forgotten. Insects might make us recoil in repugnance, but they also manufacture-or make possible in other ways-many of the things we take for granted in our daily lives. It really is a nice book, very encouraging for those who need a reminder that their actions can (and do) have positive consequences. It feels like there’s hardly anything to it, because as soon as I started to get used to the format of it the book ended. Publishing transformative literature often entails years of investment, and it is your support that makes it possible. After they burgle a house, police sirens enter the mix and Lamar imagines being arrested for the first time, but there’s a characteristic twist: “They made a right, then made a left/Then made a right, then made another right/One lucky night with the homies. The first tale details the heroic efforts of Joshua Lawrence Chamberlain at the Battle of Gettysburg during the Civil War.
