About this deal

No lol. The developer on this one is absolute low level trash. Despite being a huge fan of their latest eshop release, something with as much scope as this should not have been left to them. What an oversight. Cia I understand not liking a game series; I will never touch a Fire Emblem game. But feeling fraudenschaude because a bad port cheated innocent people out of money is kinda petty. No personal interest, but this is a decent snag for Nintendo systems. I would like to see IV and V since they can all run on Switch but merely for the sales draw that will be for Nintendo. More popular games means more sells, more sells means more profit (for Nintendo and shareholders) and more profit means more investment into development and hardware. Win win. anoyonmus who said they couldn't run? If the switch can run crisis remastered and the Witcher 3, pretty sure it has handle something like Kingdom hearts. SE just lazy Do you think Red Dead Redemption or GTV IV will ever see the light of day on Switch? Let us know in the comments below.

Thank you very much for reassessing this trilogy. I've been wondering lately if it was playable after all the patches. Will probably hold off still, as I only feel any nostalgia for Vice City. I wish I could buy it for 1/3 of the price tag, at discountI could understand botching a port for GTA V (if that ever came around). The game has a huge file size, even for the PS3 and 360. This, however, could have been avoided entirely had they decided to focus on the Switch, then make massive improvements on other platforms. They seriously need to start thinking like Capcom. All three games are available on iOS and Android, and maintain the integrity of their original releases. They’re also a mere fraction of the price. If you need a definitive (and mobile) GTA experience, there are alternatives to this dumpster fire. anoyonmus Yeah, I totally want to play San Andreas on my Switch, even if it isn't running at my preferred frame rate of 120 (or 60 in the Switch's case). However, the console could do with some hardcore credentials, something that pushed the limits graphically and was mature rated. Something to prove the Switch 2 wasn’t just for kids and can play major third party games. Sounds like I’ll need to continue watching it and see how it (continues to) shapes up. I don’t want any compromises for that price tag especially on a PS2 port. 😩

of the most amazing games in existence (GTA3, GTA VC) got that port. Everything would be fine if they cared about the music and brought every single song from the original versions. Yomerodes Agree with your post, except witcher III meets all those criteria though even the consistent 30 fps framerate Once again, as of patch 1.06, most of these issues have been improved, if not fixed entirely. The draw distance is better, the pop-in is nowhere near as bad, and the materialising cars, although still very much present, at least have the decency to appear out of nowhere slightly further down the road.Anyone else annoyed that it took these companies 5 years and 100 million consoles sold to realize that it's worth releasing games on Switch? It's like they purposefully ignore Nintendo and then rush to dump whatever garbage they can when the console succeeds. nukatha the mobile versions were the only remasters with upgraded shaders, reflective glass/cars and textures. Also they supported the HD screens. What more would you like of the switch versions? I’m just hoping it will be priced lower 9x3=27, about 20 would be a fair pricepoint

To prepare for launch, we will begin removing existing versions of the classic titles from digital retailers next week." I have both on the Xbox so not super broken up about it but it is unfortunate. Would totally buy both if they were decent. A producer friend has been keeping me updated on their tests in getting V onto Switch but his details slowed down last year. And it’s not an online person either, it’s an IRL chap who moved to the UK from SA. when I was being introduced the introducer said “he sounds posh but don’t worry he isn’t” ha ha. I agree. It’s fine and enjoyable. I think it’s worth it because I have nostalgia for the originals. Much better than when it first launched. Complaints are minor now, at launch they were major. This is all to celebrate the 20th anniversary of GTA 3, and other events will also be happening as part of the party: GTA Online will have special clothing, liveries, and surprises to discover, as well as "unusual activity" in San Andreas.Framerate parity, I am expecting probably 30 fps at the very least for Switch and maybe for Xbox One S and base PS4 too kingbk KH wasn’t ported, it’s streaming. They specifically had this made for the Switch, just like other AAA devs have done in the past with games like DOOM and The Witcher 3. These memory complaints are just dumb. Since n64 era, I’ve been managing storage on every device, pc, console, whatever it is. My iPhone runs out if space, need to clean up photos and games. My ps3 needed a 100 gb hard drive, my Xbox and it’s 500gb is out of room and needs to be managed. My switch went from 256gb on launch day to a 1tb about a year ago. Guess what, it’s filling up. When I get an oled, I’m probably just getting a 2tb as well and someday, it might be full as well.
