About this deal

This is one of my favorite designer scents of all time. I can definitely detect the CH Men DNA in this but Prive goes in a totally different direction... It's one of those perfumes you always try to figure out the situation you should wear it. It's not the best choice for a date situation; the middle and base notes are too woody for that. Too sweet in the first hour for the office. Too weak for outdoor gatherings, and not the best if you're in casual outfits. Reformulated CH Men is still better than the clones. And apparently the reformulation wasn't even that different. If you've got the chance then compare them beforehand. I didn't have the chance, and I'm really really happy with the best blind buy I ever made.

In conclusion, another launch more completely uninteresting, for my taste. Nice for those who like their fragrances of this style and sweets in general. Nor does it seem worse than the last brand arrivals and even much of its competition and I think generally the same fans will be happy with the result. CH Men Prive is perfect for dates during winter and fall. It works for clubing but it doesn't project as much as a 1 Million. If you want a CH Men Prive to project, I think there is A Private Man which is one of the Alexandria Fragrances extrait copies or Brave which is USA Inspired Fragrances' extrait copy that project stronger. I am still happy to have bought CHMP, and I am sure this has to do with some weird circumstances that should evolve, I hope. CH Men Prive is balanced very well and it’s a lot of fun to wear but I think you have to be the right type of person to truly pull it off since it’s a darker fragrance. I remember this one YouTube reviewer hated it because he got negative reactions with it, but I really couldn’t picture him wearing it, it’s just not his style..

That brings me to my next point, one that is the subject of heated debate here. The shelf life and the Sillage. I find that the fragrance has a very strong opening and can therefore very easily cause odour blindness in the wearer. However, I also maintain that the Sillage belongs to the somewhat weaker ones. Especially when compared to other leather fragrances, this one is a silent number. The shelf life of the ingredients could also be much better. The overall performance is therefore rather suboptimal, as the development is largely very close to the skin. I tested it with generous six sprays on my wrist, but all I could smell was rotten grass. I waited 5 minutes and the smell turned into that of a generic sweet vanilla fragrance. After 10 minutes the smell was completely gone.

Immediately following the leather is an odd, sweet, green tone. The grassy notes play a huge role in this one. The grass is almost a green-violet-like substance. The fragrance highlights warm and luxurious notes of whiskey and leather. Sumptuous, elegant and slightly daring, its allure is unmissable. Initial notes of fresh and zesty citrus in the form of grapefruit follow, punctuated by hints of frozen lavender, cardamom, sage and red thyme. Finally, the scent of benzoin and the elusive tonka bean prevail. Like the CH Privé man, it is timeless yet modern with a masculine allure impossible to resist. I have the red ribbon, the silver cap, the golden cap, the one with the “ch” stamped... they all smell the exact same to my nose. I think my youngest bottle is from 2017. The only difference is that the ”grassy” aspect becomes more identifiable as the bottle gets a little older (after one year more or less). The final aspect is the spicy accord. Heated strikes of cardamom—that enrapture its wearer in a fiery, masculine aura. It is such a classy finishing touch. It makes you feel like a desperado. This review is for the batches (there is no red ribbon in the middle anymore, it's just the name at the bottom right)Azzaro Pour Homme EDT is a great, strong, mature, leather, very spicy, anise, caraway, woody, and green fragrance. It results in a wonderfully spicy accord, which is then extended by cade oil. Cade Oil is derived from Juniper and delivers a note reminiscent of smoky tar. SEASONS: Winter, spring, fall, colder days, daytime, nighttime, and climate-controlled environments. As for the bottle design, I love the old ones eventhough the leather sleeve covers only the front part of the bottle.
