About this deal

Apply the polish to the shoe in even circular motions with the stiffer of the brushes or with a cloth. Waterproof shoes are made from complex materials that require extra care to keep your feet drier for longer.

Be aware of potential colour changes, and opt for products that won’t affect your shoes’ appearance if colour preservation is essential. We do not claim our boots to be waterproof just water resistant but this product can certainly make the leather waterproof. Now it states that you can use a hairdryer to warm up the boots before you apply the beeswax but much less time consuming is to use the oven in my experience! Then, apply a thin, even layer of your chosen oil to the shoe’s surface, paying extra attention to seams and stitching.

It may be beneficial for those who prefer a more casual and laid-back look, or for those who desire more room in their clothing for ease of movement or layering. For those new to using beeswax, we recommend the following basic approach - Step 1: Pack wet newspaper into the inside of the boot; Step 2: Heat the toe cap with a hot hairdryer or similar (be partcularly careful if using naked flames etc. In part using a propane torch, I added a layer of beeswax to make dually sure that my new workboots (already advertised as waterproof) would keep the water out. And the maintenance doesn’t stop there… To keep your feet nice and dry this winter, as well as nice and clean, you should try to stick to a cleaning routine.

Let’s take a look at beeswax for leather care, including beeswax for leather bags, leather gloves and waterproofing boots. Many commercial silicone polishes may indeed give your leather a lustrous sheen making it look brand new. Whichever waterproofing method works best for your shoes, repeat it every few months to stay dry whatever the weather throws at you. Ingredients: beeswax, rapeseed oil, sunflower oil, olive oil, hemp seed oil, coconut oil, vitamin E (to extend shelf life and prevent rancidity).

Applying this beeswax on leather brings dry, dull leather back to life by giving it a lovely soft gleam.
