About this deal

Stronger Than They Look: Despite being the park's smallest theropod species, they're quite strong, as Suzume finds out. Domesticated Dinosaurs: Dinosaurs are kept as attractions at zoos and animal sanctuaries like Enoshima Dinoland. Some dinosaurs like Sinornithomimus have even been bred for meat.

Also, the dinosaurs here are shown to be animals. Some eat meat, yes, but they are more than monsters - they are shy, or bond with carers. They develop gout because of kidey failure or have special dietary needs. This makes the dinosaurs not less interesting, but more interesting, as they are as complex and fascinating as current life on earth. Seven Seas will release the first volume of Itaru Kinoshita's Dinosaurs Sanctuary manga in September. The company describes the manga:In that sense, Dinosaur Sanctuary is rather reminiscent of the anime series The Aquatope on White Sand that aired in Fall 2021. That particular series has a story that centred around two young women working at a small-town aquarium called Gamma Gamma aquarium, which was on the verge of closing. The series followed their times at Gamma Gamma, along with their subsequent career paths in the aquarium industry, and the obstacles and conflicts they encountered along the way. During this journey, the viewer is treated with sights and facts about various kinds of marine life . Based on what has been presented in volume one so far, that seems to be the path that Dinosaur Sanctuary will be treading. In the world of Dinosaur Sanctuary , a small population of non-avian dinosaurs previously thought to have been extinct were found on an isolated island. This caused a great deal of initial excitement among the general public, but after the initial hype, public opinion has turned against dinosaurs due to a fatal incident at a dinosaur zoo. In short, at first there were a lot of ‘Ooh, ah,’ but then later there’s much running and screaming from the dinosaurs. The story follows Suma Suzume, a newly hired rookie zookeeper at Enoshima Dinoland, a struggling dinosaur park which has seen better days. And it is through her perspective and experiences that the reader learns about the different species of dinosaurs at Dinoland, and their husbandry needs. Can the keepers safely remove an obstruction from a Troodon’s throat? Can they help boost the popularity of a triceratops with a broken horn so he won’t be sold to another zoo? Did the vet catch the signs of kidney disease in the Dilophosaurus in time?

Put on a Bus: After realizing that his siblings won't stop bullying him, even after helping them get food, Suzume agrees that Benkei should be transferred to a lab with other misfit dinosaurs, partly for his own safety.

Truth in Television: Sad as it might be, captive wild animals lashing out unexpectedly and injuring or killing humans, even those who had taken care of them for years, is not uncommon. The first few chapters have already been released as volumes, and they've been published in English too, thanks to Seven Seas Entertainment. Celebrity Is Overrated: He was the star Triceratops in Japan's biggest, most successful dinosaur park, until he lost his horn. Much is made of how his fame only lasted as long as he was in perfect condition, and then was sold off in favor of a new Triceratops after the accident. Karin, his most loyal caretaker, left shortly after he did.

Note, I'm not that well versed in Manga, my experience coming mainly from reading Nausicaa and Junji Ito, but when I saw someone discussing this book somewhere, I knew I had to look into it. And it is a great story for dinosaur enthousiasts. The plot continues in part 2, where the park executives think about selling Masaru. Karin is opposed to this. Meanwhile, Suma Suzume finds Masaru's broken horn, and she and Karin start to make a little interactive area to not let the park executives sell Masaru. Their interactive area is an instant hit, and the park executives do not decide to sell Masaru We strive to make our Dinosaurs as accurate as possible, so Raptors and some future theropods will have Feathers. Dinosaur Sanctuary ( Japanese: ディノサン, Hepburn: Dinosan) is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Itaru Kinoshita, with Shin-ichi Fujiwara serving as research consultant. It began serialization in Shinchosha's Monthly Comic Bunch magazine in March 2021; as of April 2023, four volumes have been released. There will be a total of at least 13 playable Dinosaurs, spanning from Herbivores, over Carnivores to Omnivores, with more species aimed to being added after release.

Dinosaur Sanctuary is a manga made by Itaru Kinoshita, and the research consultant is Shin-Ichi Fujiwara. The synopsis is as follows:

In the distant future, society has all but eliminated the need for a human workforce. Thanks to an all-powerful AI network known collectively as Titan, humanity is now free to indulge in an era of unprecedented peace and prosperity. But one day, hobbyist psychologist Seika Naisho gets a job offer from a mysterious man by the name of Narain Srivastava–one of only a handful of people in the entire world who is still traditionally employed. He wishes to enlist Seika's expertise in the wake of a sudden and inexplicable malfunction in the AI network: as a therapist for Titan itself. sur un point tout personnel, le parc en question se trouve sur Enoshima, une île que j'ai visitée il y a des années avec mon frère et que j'avais adorée :)
