About this deal

You're going to want to make clear that you're there for the conversations. Corrections should be minimal, and preferably delivered in the end in written form. When it's difficult, not because of vocabulary, but because of the themes and complicated concepts that are dealt with, it'll create the double strain on your brain to try and understand it.

Seregil wrote: "Raisa wrote: "Seregil wrote: "How did "Dracula" make it on the "Romanian literature" list??" Colea was Păstorel’s favorite chef. With almost 70-years’ experience in culinary art, Nicolae Olexiuc is one of the first Romanian cookbook authors. He worked at most successful restaurants in Bucharest, training many cooks, and, inspired by Păstorel’s saying that “A good cookbook is like a marble step into evolving civilization” began to write. If you keep it up, you'll eventually have a basic vocabulary and you'll be familiar with Romanian grammar. Find a moment during your day when you have the time. In the morning, for example, and make a habit out of studying every morning. And indeed this is a comprehensive collection of recipes from a culinary adventure in stories written using ingredients in place of words. As the title suggests, we get to taste the multi millennial magic of the ritual foods and the proper dish wines from every Romanian land. So what are you supposed to do? Are you forced to keep revising your beginner's courses or reading children's stories for months or years before being ready for real native content? You'll be much more likely to remember a word that you've "done something" with, than a word that you've just run through an instant translation app. However, instead of looking up images or creating mental associations to remember the content you study, this is about seeing words in other contexts.

For each new text that you study, the system will remember the words that you know and the words that you're learning. As you gradually start to remember the yellow words, you can change them to known words. Another principle that touches on the same idea, is to look up books that you've read several times in your native language. Like most, you learn dialogues, grammar, pronunciation, vocabulary, but that’s not all. The book includes exercises and tests inside the book to force you to practice what you’ve learned. On top of it all, it promises to get you to the B2 level of Romanian. After finishing a conversation, sit down and write a short text on the subject you've just spoken about. In the beginning you can make it 100-300 words, but as you improve you can write longer texts. The one downside of this book is… the print is small, so if you have vision problems, it may not be for you. If you’re wondering which book to choose, both this book (by Colloquial/Routledge) and the books above and below (Teach Yourself) are good enough. So you can get either one and be well set for learning Romanian.
