About this deal

Will wiring be a nightmare? I think I'll need one or two PWM hubs for the QL120s to plug into the Commander Core. Does this make sense? It's about time someone came out with reverse fans again (remember some from a long time ago) especially considering how much glass is being forced on us with modern pc cases. Every time I used either P12/14 or T30, at 800 to 1K rpm was more than enough for EK (PE and the new replacement P) also for Alphacool and their XT 45mm radiator. Maybe for radiators with higher fpi or 140mm based radiators (lower static pressure from fans). I have previous model for corsair commander mini and it is working fine, perfect for my needs. I can setup each channel separately, setup curve to profiles or custom, based on different sensors (I have based on GPU). It works way better than mobo software. I had at some point also connected water temp sensor to it, but not used it for fan curves (I heard there were some issues in the past with older model, I would assume now it should work fine). The main difference between LL120 vs ML120 is that the ML120 uses premium magnetic levitation technology to provide users with excellent performance at low noise while the LL120 uses hydraulic bearing technology and has a light loop that’s sure to improve the aesthetics of your rig. What Is LL120 Fan Best For?

The idea is to design a system that will give you a reasonable degree of future-proofing and the ability to handle both gaming and content creation tasks, all for a reasonable price. The Corsair ML120 is the best fan for superior cooling performance. While the LL120s provide good airflow, the ML120s take it up a notch by providing higher RPM, static pressure, and better airflow. Although they aren’t as attractive as the LL120s, they look good and provide better efficiency. – Features Generally, the performance-affecting components that will cost the most in a balanced build are the graphics card, processor, motherboard and RAM. Of these, the graphics card and processor are where you should probably spend any extra money you have. AMD vs Intel: We've chosen an AMD Ryzen CPU and a matching motherboard for our 'default' build, thanks to Ryzen's generally lower cost of entry, higher core count and PCIe 4.0 support. These characteristics make it a good choice for mixed use, where your PC is used for gaming and streaming or content creation.so looks like the commander core is new and it can control the pwm on the fan as well as the lighting like the node core can only do 6 fans instead of 12 liek the commander and lighting node pro Personally I just wish they were non rgb, yes I know I can turn it off but seems extra money for 'nothing' and extra cables etc... Maybe they'll bring out the T-30 inverted as well, might even tempt me to swap out my noctua chromax.

Corsair’s ML120 Pro RGB fans blend the purely practical innovation of magnetic-levitation bearings with a purely cosmetic augmentation: RGB LEDs. We’d normally expect a product to suffer for such vanity, but the ML120s defy expectations and lose nothing for their blinkenlights. The setup of the ML120s requires the same process as the LL120s. All you have to do is plug the fans into the RGB lighting control hub, the control hub to the lighting node pro, and connect all power connectors to their motherboard and PSU headers as we’ve explained above. Conclusion Thanks to the fact that LL120s support PWM, they are ranged fans as they can be controlled to provide speeds from zero to 100 percent. This means that you can utilize them at zero RPM and make them run at their full capacity of 1500 RPM. I used to get annoyed when people posted things like that, now I just laugh. The pearl is all intake, all the heat from the radiators dumped inside the case.Next are the PWM fan connectors, which can be connected depending on your rig. You can connect them to an AIO to use your fans as cooling fans, directly to your motherboard, or connected to a fan hub. While B450 boards are an even cheaper option, B550 and X570 motherboards have two major advantages: support for Ryzen 5000-series out of the box and support for PCIe Gen 4.0 storage and graphics cards. Having access to these adds a degree of future-proofing that you won't find on B450, in exchange for a slightly higher up-front cost. X570 boards tend to support a larger number of PCIe 4.0 devices simultaneously, but tend to cost more. If you plan to have a lot of fast PCIe 4.0 storage installed, then X570 makes sense; otherwise go for B550 as you'll get better value. Also, both fans are aesthetically different. While the LL120s focus on looking pretty and providing cooler RGB lighting with more RGB lights on them, the magnetic levitation 120s are all about providing excellent airflow so they don’t have as many lights as the LL series. Additionally, the LL120 RGB lights form a ring on the outside of the fan while those of the Corsair ML120 RGB Elite focus on the fans.

You’ll get a new option that correlates with the chosen lighting channel so if you installed your fans on lighting channel 1, the new option would be Lighting Channel 1. The 120 Series are small, but full-featured, laboratory pumps with simple intuitive operation and four pumphead options to suit any application. This one's pretty simple: 1TB of storage space will give you enough room to keep Windows 10 and a good amount of (non-Warzone) games installed simultaneously, while the NVMe M.2 connection means that there are no cables to plug in and game load times are short - ideal for taking advantage of future cross-generation games that should benefit from fast read and write speeds. In terms of manufacturers, we like drives from Samsung, Adata, Crucial, WD and Sabrent. We have full SSD recommendations here if you're interested! Right now my fans speed control are plugged into my motherboard so I can't use iCue to create a custom fan curve like I could with the Pro, but from my understanding, the Core has that same feature.

At 35.3 dBA, the MasterFan trio might not seem much louder than the Corsairs at 1000 RPM, but they have a prominent bass tone to their sound that stands out more than the broad-spectrum whoosh of the Corsair bunch. Though they’re still quiet, the MasterFans aren’t as eerily unobtrusive as the Corsairs are at the same speed. You definitely get the sense that the system is on and working when the MasterFans are operating. I already have 3 RGB ML120s, and from what I can gather, the cooler comes with 2 more RGB ML120s and a Commander Core. Since there are many variations of the ML120s, we’ll be using the ML120 Corsair iCUE RGB Elite fans as our base. The ML120 comes with the same set of accessories that’s on the LL120s, including the fan connectors, lighting connectors, and lighting control hub. The LL120 is the best fan for those who are looking for premium cooling performance and excellent RGB effects without sacrificing their noise levels. They come with over ten cooling effects and since their RPM is only up to 1500, they run quietly even at max load. – FeaturesThis CPU provides a good overall level of performance that should hold you in good stead for a few years, especially in modern games that can take advantage of CPUs like the 5600X with high core and thread counts. Ryzen 5000 processors like the 5600X benefit from a big boost to single-core performance, making them from 15 to 20 per cent faster in some tasks than their predecessors and helping AMD cement a gaming performance lead over Intel for the first time in recent memory. Ryzen processors are also a great choice for content creation workloads, like transcoding or editing video, especially as their core counts increase. My PC will have 5 RGB ML120s, and some Corsair strip lights (probably 4 strips daisy chained together). I will for sure have a Commander Core, but exactly what other controllers do I need to control all of that with iCue? (fan speed and RGB) I know The Pro has more temperature sensors and USB and stuff, but is that really the only difference?
