About this deal

It is worth noting that under UK guidelines, an additional 4 dB should be subtracted to allow for performance reductions caused by inexact fit and users failing to properly follow the fitting guidelines. It was fairly good, again, while mids and lows sounded fine, highs did take a hit and sounded worse than without the earplugs. Insert and twist these plugs inside your ears with alternating tips in XS, S, M and L so that they stay firmly in place no matter how much you move around in the night. They are designed in a T-shape to encourage a better and more secure fit - and once inserted, block out 33 decibels of noise for a better and deeper night’s sleep. Because as an orchestral musician I attach great importance to my sense of hearing, I have decided to use BOLLSEN ‘s professional hearing protection devices.

I use them all the time for brass band practice and can actually hear what I'm playing (cornet) over the basses. You can also wash and reuse them and the colour makes it easy to work out which you have been wearing and when it’s time to switch up.

Alas my quest continues (I think ill bite the bullet and go with custom molds eventually) however when these are inserted properly they sound incredible. We rely on efficient production, the use of renewable energies and reusable products to achieve our 2025 goal. Low carbon footprint – The responsibility for our planet and our environment is also largely in our hands. Their soft construction moulds to the shape of your ear to form the perfect fit with a soft kind-to-skin aloe vera enriching.

Please Note that I am not an audiologist and if in doubt should always consult with a properly trained and fully qualified professional in all medical matters; including your hearing. Pretty good, if anything I'd say they are sometimes too much protection and sound levels can be hard to distinguish at lower volumes, but if playing live on stage with a good on stage mix then are perfect. The Alpines are great for protection but the sound is not great, very low mid heavy, they tend to leave around the 150-400Hz range relatively untouched which makes for a very "woolly", "honky" undefined sound that masks all detail for guitars and vocals. They get to work filtering sound and reducing noise, but not entirely and so are ideal if you are concerned about missing your alarm or being able to have some level of hearing. But when I compared to listening with it and without, having it in was nicer and alot more comfortable than if I didn't. I simply could not afford this to happen again, so had a look over here and these were highly rated.

There is nothing more frustrating than watching your partner or friend enjoying a sound doze as you pile pillows over your head, crank up rain sounds in uncomfortable earbuds and do everything in your power not to end up with 25 years to life. Our earplugs are made of medical silicone and are free of BPA, PVC, softening agents, latex and cadmium. We looked out for size, comfort, ease in use (because it’s not always a case of squeezing them into your drums) and most importantly of all, noise cancellation. The US label is recommended by doctors to protect your ear drums if you’re dealing with loud machinery and to doze off without annoying interruptions. Before it gets to that level, introduce Pluggers into your nighttime routine and ensure that traffic, snoring or noisy neighbours don’t get in the way of your eight hours. The APV should be subtracted from the dB value of the sound that you want to block to indicate the resultant sound. As well, being able to communicate with someone during the concert was close to impossible with them on, even between songs, as I had to briefly take them off. If the noise that you want to suppress at 4000 Hz is at the level of 80 dB and the product APV suppresses 20 dB at 4000 Hz, the user’s resultant experience will be 60 dB (64 dB with allowances for user issues). I will keep on using them, as I had a little bit of ringing when leaving the theater but nothing major, next day I was listening as always with no ringing at all and that is extremely nice.
